The Royal patron of the club is ,of course,the Duke of Kent.HRH Prince Edward,Duke of Kent.
His father was Prince George,Duke of Kent.He died in a plane crash when Edward was only six.
Prince George's older brother was Prince Albert,later King George VI.The Queen's father.
So Duke,and Queen are first cousins.
